Why should we stop at $15/hr. I mean $100 and everyone can live comfortably. Right?

why stop there? why not one million per hour then everyone can be like Bill Gates instead of just live comfortably

Comfort is relative.

Every American lives comfortably compared to people of 500 years ago.

This is a great opportunity (i know you said it tongue in cheek) to point out how the real world works.

If everyone earns a million dollars and hour what that does is make everyone much closer to being equal. People will not have more wealth just more money.

Money is a placeholder for productivity. You produce and the production gets you money because money is easier that bartering everything.

The only way to make the average standard of living go up is for the average production to go up.

10 dollars an hour buys you 1 hours of production worth of shite you can buy for an hour of your work.

100000000000 dollars and hour also buy you 1 hours worth of production and the store.
