I love Texas and the thought of its independence. What scares me is knowing the final coffin nail is put into the USA once Texas is gone. We're probably already there anyway and I'm just in denial.
If there was a way for Oklahoma to join Texit, I'd be all-in. Afraid that would push the left to take military action to prevent secession though with the thought of losing all the oil in Texas and Oklahoma... though supposedly they hate oil.
I've got family in Harris county and also around the Palestine area. Guess I should start talking to them about job opportunities in the area...

TX would need to do it's thing first, and then see what happens with bordering States once it's on solid ground. Obviously lots of companies will leave. At least their national hqs

The Civil War was overwhelmingly first and foremost fought over the states’ right to secede from the federal government and the federal government’s power over the states. The thought that it had anything to do with slavery is nothing but propaganda which is factually and easily provably false.
