If everyone on this board used the sofa cushion method, we probably aren't discussing hog problems are we? And no I don't condone it but it's the truth. So believe what you want. Call me a sociopath or whatever. But if they told me I had one job to do and it was to solve the hog problem, you wouldn't see hogs while deer hunting and you wouldnt see them on camera either.

Nukes?

No one is going to go for a poison method that has a chance of affecting other wildlife, man.

Honestly, I think they're largely here to stay. I'd like to see more hunting/trapping opportunities on public lands that currently serve as safe spaces for hogs once hunting season ends.

To be effective, trapping needs to be done strategically Can’t just let people just put out traps because you will end up with a bunch of trap shy hogs

I also don’t agree with extending hunting seasons for
them because it is not effective in the least in reducing populations It becomes sport then and someone who enjoys to hunt pigs isn’t going to go out and try to kill every pig they see because they want to leave some for sees so they can keep hunting them

That’s my beef with the dog hunters. They gripe
That they should be allowed to catch pigs with dogs but they aren’t effective either. Most don’t kill their catch. They do it for fun. And dog hunters are the reason the pig population has exploded So frick them
