Having grown up on SW though, I am comfortable in my assessment of TLJ. And no, I didn't even see TROS.
Yeah, Shark Boy and Lava Girl was bad. It was never intended to be good.
The Last Jedi was intended to be good, and was horrifically bad for what they intended.
