Nielsen is fully capable of building our D-Line like nobody else in college football.
With his ability to teach fundamentals, and recruit, our D-Line would be virtually unblockable.
He definitely knows what he is doing, and the proof of that is the saints D-Line for the entire time he has been there.
Nielsen is the guy I personally want to see become our DC, and always was the guy I hope we hire. He isn't hired yet though as far as we know, and missing out on him would be a tremendous disappointment.

I just worry about what he knows in the passing game. He’s not a LB or DB coach like many DCs were earlier in their careers. I’m curious, is there a good DC right now that started at DL? This isn’t a challenge, I’m just curious because these DC types usually started out at LB or DB.
