As long as the mesh wasn't pushed to the bottom,the saw should take care of it. Flat bar + crow bar should free it up. I'd keep a grinder, metal snips, or reciprocating saw with metal blade nearby for mesh stragglers. If you cut it into 2x2 chunks, you should be able to get away without a jackhammer, just a hand full of sledgehammer strikes at the corners.
