I use a Maverick dual probe... it's been reliable for years now.

Second on the Maverick, mine is at least five years old and still very accurate.

I have a cheap programmable Maverick with one probe. I needed a probe thermometer and this was the only thing they had at the first store I stopped. $20. When I double check with my Thermapen, the Maverick is always within one degree. The Rodney Dangerfield of thermometers.
