Being that you can be certified to teach after you get literally any 4 year degree first, not one bit.

When the salary is less than it costs to get a degree, all you gotta worry about is graduating somewhere

And all the more reason to go cheap

It's one of the reasons so many of the "we're underpaid" arguments fall short.

You don't have to excel to get into school, or complete school, and your school doesn't matter much. No reason for you to take out substantial debt to get a competitive degree in a non-competitive field only to bitch at the rest of us when you knew all of this going into it.
