Definitely, I feel like a Martin D series is the top of my playing abilities though

I will say though that I was not very impressed with these Taylors, they looked great but didn't really offer anything tonally that a $2k Taylor doesn't IMO.

If I was spending that kind of money, I'm getting a Huss & Dalton or one of the ones you mentioned.

Just my opinion though, everyone has one.

If I have $8k sitting around, I have a lot more pressing needs than a guitar to dedicate those funds to. Probably spend $500 on an acoustic guitar and another $7,500 on home improvements.
