Been picking at least 5 cucumbers and about 25 yard long beans daily for several days now and still about 3 weeks out from okra coming in.

I've got 25 tomatoes on my table and countertop in varying stages of ripening and I'm eating at least 2-3 tomatoes a day right now and can't keep up with them. Celebrity and black krim are doing well right now but will be fading in a couple more weeks as it is really heating up now.

I had to pull the dozen or so zucchini and yellow crook necks due to squash vine borers taking them out once again. No matter what I do, they get into the stems and eat the plants up. At least squash are cheap in the stores right now.

Grew corn last year and found it was not really worth it for the amount produced and Rouses puts it on sale sometimes for as little as $.10 an ear for bi-color sweet corn, so I just buy it now and freeze what I don't use.

What I can't understand is okra being over $3 a lb. in the supermarkets even when the season is in full swing. That stuff grows like a weed and produces heavily for months on end.
