WTF is your problem. I was simply relating how one of my uncles castrated his hogs when I was a kid. I wasn't saying do that to the dog, even though it was an accepted practice at one time.

You sound like a vet with a vested $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ interest in your getting that job.

Oh, wait. You're one of those that treats their dogs like kids-----I get it now.

No. But i find it amusing that people (especially on this board) always act like veterinary medicine is overpriced or that the services offered aren’t any different from what paw paw did on the farm two generations ago, thereby inferring some sort of over charging is afoot. Or that lay people are just as qualified as someone with a DVM.

And I’m well aware that animals aren’t humans. But that fact doesn’t mean I treat an animal without compassion.

And In point of fact, Your anecdote of paw paws swine management practices was in response to the suggestion of stuffing the dogs head in a boot and cutting his nuts off. It wasn’t just some yarn you wanted to spin about your kin folk.
