Brother I've been a fan of the Pens since I really started getting into hockey in the early 2000's and they sucked.(They came very close to leaving Pittsburgh had it not been for Mario buying them) And the Pittsburgh roots w/my family didn't hurt, either. So no bandwagon here.

I'm all for NBC out of the picture. But I don't like Stanley Cup Finals games exclusively on a cable channel. TNT is trying to hire Gretzky as an analyst.

Islanders-Bruins on NBCS. 1-0 BOS at 1st intermission. This game has implications for Boston as they are still in a fight w/the Islanders for the 3 seed. If Boston wins in regulation or gets it to OT, they clinch the 3 seed and play WSH and the Pens would play the Isles. They could also lose both tonight and tomorrow in OT and back into the 3rd seed.
But if Boston loses tonight, then they have to beat Washington tomorrow in order to play them again in the 1st round.
