Trump is just like any other politician...he's more than happy to tell you what you want to hear, whether he actually plans to do it or not.

Trump kept more of his promises than any other president in my 60 years. No politician can keep them all. Most politicians don’t even try to keep most of their promises. They just want to keep enough to be re-elected. Trump actually attempted to generally do what he promised - more so than any other president.
