Conservatives don't want to be in control. When was the last time you saw the GOP actually unwind any of the bullshite the Democrat party puts into law?

Even with Trump at the helm, they still dragged their feet and let this opportunity get bogged down in Russiagate. Why? Because the only item on their agenda is the next election..

Conservative is actually a good name for them, because that's what they do. They hold on to things.. They don't take anything back or fight to change anything, they just try to hold on to what they still have left.

Then when they lose power, they hit the campaign trail and say "you gotta vote GOP so we can WIN BACK THE HOUSE! THE SENATE! THE OVAL! Trust us! *THESE* candidates are good ones!"
