SEC AD's approved it as well.

BREAKING:
@SEC athletic directors have approved a normal baseball season structure for this spring. No change to the conference schedule. ADs also voted to increase the #SEC travel roster from 27 to 30

Sources told me that the #SEC coaches/athletic directors feel playing midweek games and more non-conference games is better for college baseball as a whole. Makes selection process easier at the end of the season, and gives smaller conference teams a chance to earn RPI points.

Lastly … I’m told the #SEC league schedule will drop in the next 24-48 hours.

Early on, I was told that if the conference schedule was played as normal (30 games), they would just use the 2020 one. I don’t know if that is still the plan though.
