California has the strictest lockdowns of any state, and they are leading the pack in new cases and icu capacity
So the lockdowns dont work. Its idiotic people think they do
Either open everything up, or arrest anyone who leaves their house at all

I wish both sides would try to find some middle ground instead of taking a political position and digging in. Locking down the world indefinitely imposes unacceptable costs. Most reasonable people would agree with that. At the same time, it's absurd not to take some precautions like being more careful than usual in public, to include maybe wearing a mask. Nobody on either side wants to give an inch though, and that's tragic.
