I'm going. Worst case scenario is that capacity is so low for each event that you can only watch a handful live, in which case you're still in Tokyo so it's still an awesome trip.

Key is that the current restrictions, which post 12/31 are effectively the highest in the world (i.e. no non-cotizens), have to be relaxed by a few levels.
