Against Toronto. Talk about a young man that has put a lot of work in to get to this point

His size and defense at the pro level were the big red flags that teams had against him but it would seem he's done enough to go from potential liability all the way to being seen as a player that can be counted on to put in real quality minutes.
And on a team that has serious title hopes let alone just a playoff caliber team.
Thats some elite level work he's put in during his first few years at the pro level. Good for him.

I'll never forget that deep buzzer beater 3 he hit to beat A&M

It was his size, never defense. He led the team and maybe even conference in steals. Sure 1 on 1 size, but certainly plays the rest defense more than capable.

I thought he was actually the overall mvp of the g league. Not just the rookie of the year.

Really great opportunity for him to show himself with all the Celtics injuries. Hope he shows out

He averaged 18.0 points, 7.3 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.89 steals per game in 36 G League games. On June 18, 2020, Waters was named NBA G League Rookie of the Year. On November 23, 2020, Waters re-signed with the Celtics

Watching the last 30 seconds in awe of THREEmont

Tre got the start. Late 4th 5 pts 5 assiste. The rookie Pritchard got more minutes and is going off. 22pts 8 assists. Not good for TW playing time going forward.

My favorite was him throwing the alley oop against bama with 40 seconds left up 3

I don’t think he could have landed at a better team with a better coach than he did. Stevens seems to love these types of guys.

I watched the game last night. Tremont played ok, but that rookie PG Payton Pritchard is badass. Never heard of him before but I was impressed.
