Jesus Christ some of you LSU fans live in alternative universe when it comes to anything Bama related.

I didn’t say I’m certain Mac is going to be great or we should draft him because I don’t know how he good he might be. That maybe a small sample size and questions about supporting cast and lack of athleticism are legitimate concerns. Now why would a homer say any of that? Yet you, an LSU fan, is already guaranteeing he will be nothing special. Who’s the being the biased one here?

You clearly do not watch him play. How are you going to compare him McElroy? They don’t play in the same type of offense nor did McElroy ever put up big stats. Mac is asked to make a lot more plays then McElroy ever was. Same goes for all the other guys he brought up. He’s hit guys in tight windows, hit them in stride on throw deep throws, anticipates where his receivers might, gone through his progressions, limited his mistakes greatly while still being aggressive, and made a variety of great throws all over the field.

I know you’re not going to change your mind. The reality is you, along with some others, would be saying the same thing no matter who the Bama QB is or how they play. Even if a Andrew Luck clone played here at QB, you guys would still be saying the same thing.

I don’t even get why any of y’all are on this board, not like Bama fans are actual saints fans.

Who made you in charge of deciding who is or is not a Saints fan? If a former Bama player is playing against the Saints, I’m all for him having the worst game of the season if it means the Saints meaning.

The McElroy comparison was bad I’ll admit that. And I’m not automatically saying he will be a bust. I’m just going off what I’ve seen from previous Bama QBs when they transition to the nfl. And honestly it goes for all elite QBs in college over the last several years. Most of the guys who dominated college haven’t amounted to anything. So really I’m just hesitant to buy into hype on any dominant college QB.
