Good morning and happy new year TB. First time going to Cabo this month, looking for recommendations for, fishing, best restaurants and possible shark cage diving. tia

Hey buddy...happy new year. I’m en route to the in-laws but will reply later on with some info.
There have been some recent posts from folks who traveled there over the summer, maybe they will see this thread and offer up some details.

Are you wanting to stay in Cabo proper or San Jose?

Near Cabo San Lucas and not near San Jose del Cabo.

For my buddy who I talked so much mess to before the 50-7 game.
Wife and I loved El Farallon for a nice dinner.
Bad arse cliff dining here
We had cheap tacos that didn’t make you shite your pants at Gardenias.
Tacos
Weirdly, we went to Salvatore’s for Italian and it was great.
Get lasagna or pork shank

I ate at the new Panazia (Mexican-Asian fusion) in San Jose in July and really liked it. The original is in Cabo San Lucas and has the same menu. I had a nice conversation with the owner. If you like unique dishes that you can't get in the US, then I would recommend it.

Tres Gallos is outstanding Mexican food and there are a couple of really good Italian restaurants. Of corse, fresh seafood everywhere.

It is full of American tourists and feels like a typical bar/club you would go to here in the US. Everybody shows up hoping to see Sammy Hagar make an appearance and leaves disappointed. Drinks are watered down and extremely overpriced.
