I’ve said this for years.

The playoffs have made other bowl games meaningless and rightfully so.

Who even gives a shite about a “NY6” bowl anymore?

Pandora’s Box has been opened with a four team playoff and you can’t close it back again.

Don't understand this "logic". Didn't the BCS make other bowl games meaningless? If not, why not?

Haven't most bowl games always been meaningless?

Expanding the playoffs is not a good idea. It is supposed to be hard. If you don't like the fact that the same teams seem to make the playoffs each year the solution isn't to make the path easier, but for other teams to get better.
