Similarly here, my DEF sending unit was going out and of course I was a couple thousand miles out of warranty. My choice was either replace the sending unit and maybe have a similar issue again later or delete, cost was pretty much the same either way. I did a pretty simple tuner, delete pipe(just replaced the DPF, looks stock otherwise), No Limit intake, and S&B aluminum intercooler pipe(most should do this even if stock). I’ve had it done for a couple years and about 50,000 miles so far, no issues, picked up a couple MPG, runs better, etc. I’m pretty easy on it and don’t beat the crap out of it.

I do have to do the dreaded cab bushing soon though

Replacing the cab bushings isn't as bad as people make it out too be.

Go around the whole cab and loosen the bolt and nuts that hold each bushing. Get yourself some floor jacks and lift and replace each bushing one at a time, then let the jack down and move to the next.. might help to spray penetrating oil on the bolts the day before.

Funny you say that my truck squeaks and rattles like an old mattress. Pops and grinds like crazy when going over rough terrain. Crawled under there the other day and some of the bushings seems completely gone on the underside of the mounts
