You are right but It’s also mainly optics. Kind of hard to keep pushing the student before athlete narrative when you are asking your student athletes to be away from campus they are students at for 4 out of 7 days being an athlete.
I don’t agree with it at all but I also understand that the SEC/NCAA offices think we are complete morons that don’t see the truth.

We're still under the widespread rules of making shite up as we go because we got to do something even if there is no definitive evidence that it works.
