The scenes with Gale in the sound editing studio and the scene in the crashed car are as scary as they come.

I loved all three. Obviously in order that they came out in. 4 wasn't all that bad considering the fact that most add-on's/prequel/sequel shite sucks. But after watching Scary Movie 1 so much, its almost hard to watch scream for the horror factor anymore. They nailed it.

4 was terrible. Solid until the reveal, and then it was completely unbelievable.

I can't really argue with that. I just meant it was better than a lot of the other add on movies that come a decade later or whatever. I remember reading a thread about a potential new one in the works. That may actually be a nail in the coffin.

Spoilers.

Just to get all the way to the end of a movie where the killer is lifting and throwing people, manhandling then, etc. and then the reveal is that the killers are two tiny women. Took me completely out of it and I went from really liking it and respecting it as a fourth entry to hating it bad.

Scream 2 did a really good job of making fun of the first

Scream 3 tried to do the same thing but fell a bit flatter

Scream 4, it was fine but it was just an ADHD murder fest. I was never really motivated to watch it again.

It wasn't two girls. It was a dude and the cousin.

Spoiler:

Yeh, well didn't she double cross the Culkin kid at the end in a similar fashion that Billy did to Stu or whatever. Its been a while since I've seen any of them.

Spoiler:

Yes. But Stu wasn't supposed to be dead. He was supposed to be the mastermind in Scream 3. They scrapped that idea and Kevin Williamson sold it to The Following on FOX.

Interesting, I never knew that. If stu didn't die, "his mom was gonna kill [him]" anyways.

Holy shite, I may need to watch Scream 4 again since I clearly don’t remember how it ended.

Okay, I just went and read the synopsis of it. And it wasn't two girls...it was a frail dude and a tiny girl. That's what bothered me when I watched it...they are overpowering people during the movie and I remember it being completely unbelievable once the killers were revealed.

I still may go back and watch it again though, but I remember disliking the ending a lot when I saw it in theaters.

I dont think 4 was any different but it has been a while since i have seen it.

The scream franchise is probably one of the most underrated

It took a predictable, played out genre and made it fresh with a modern twist.

Scream, the original, is just a well put together movie, from the characters, to the pacing, to the dialogue.

The original Scream is one of the GOAT horror movies. Seriously.
