I know we haven’t talked about having needs here and we have other needs, but with Ika and Jenkins leaving we could be low on depth. It leaves us with Roy, Smith, Guillory, Evans and Taylor. Maybe we can hold on to Ferrel or Logan, but that’s a long shot. 5 is not enough. Could Cherry or Fonua move inside?

Unless we want 7 linebackers manning seven spots, we need lbs.

Truth is, ncaa may have tk have a one year lax on transfer rules.

We got hammered and it’s not safe to have 68 scholarship players while others have around 85.

Cherry def looks like a guy that could move inside to me. He was 280 at the beginning of last season. I'm really hoping he has a coming out year

I don't think we need to go to the portal. We also have Fonua and Cherry, as you pointed out. Those guys can be used if we have injuries or the defense is getting gassed. In addition, Bryce Langston can move inside. He is a horse.

We are only trying to fill two positions. We have five guys, and Taylor is the only one we have any doubts about.

We are in good shape on the DL. The major thing will be convincing Ali Gaye to come back. Anthony would be a bonus, he really finally found his spot as a solid all around 4-3 RDE. He would probably start over Ojulari again next year on early downs unless Ojulari is able to put on 15-20 lbs of solid muscle. Anthony was the much better run defender but BJ was a much more polished pass rusher.

OL and LBs should be top priority
