Did anyone else noticed the blitz packages we used? I'm being a smart arse caused there were not any.

Dude it's preseason if we have to blitz for our corners to be able to cover every play we're screwed.

In 2006 when the Colts won the Super Bowl, they were 1-3 in the preseason. Your theory is moot.

What's it going to hurt we seem as if we are screwed any way. All I could remember is not seeing many blitz packages last year. If I'm not mistaking we didn't have a sack for the first four games.

My funniest moment ever at the Superdome. We were at this pre-game things in one of the meeting rooms. There were these two little old ladies in the room decked out in their Saints gear and diamonds. One of the defensive players then, I want to say it was Sam Mills, anyway he was mentioning blitzing at practice. One of the little old ladies stood up and yelled "Why the hell were you practicing blitzing when you never do it in a game?" and the second little old lady yelled "Yeah! You tell those sons of bitches!"

i'd love to find this out myself. our dline needs to pressure the QB more with out blitzing. i think it'll be obvious through the first 4 or 5 games whether or not he will.

There just isn't much talent on this defense. I agree the saints should be getting more production out of Smith/Grant but other than MM who on that D (Vilma if the knee holds up) would anyone want to start on their team?
Offense will have to score alot to win games this year.

Corner...not corners. We have one horrible CB that every QB picks on and i guarantee you he will not see much playing time this year. McKenzie (decent) and Young (lots of potential) will probably start with Glenn getting some reps. When it come to the DL there are issues but to say someone is shite during the preseason is pointless. Rarely do the known starters even give 100%. I know im a homer and glass-half-full fan but i dont think anything ive said is off base.
