I'm all for it. I've watched a lot of Cincy this year given their success. Those boys love to hit. Wouldn't mind having him here. But any moderate success he has, and we're in the same boat we were in after Aranda.

That's a reason to hire a guy--him being good enough that other people might want him--not a reason to pass on him.

We can't NOT hire a coach because he some day aspires to be a head coach. The formula is to bring in good coaches and create the winning attitude that allows the next to step it up after the great coordinator find the head coaching job he really desires. Look at all of the guys who've come in and through Saban. There's nothing wrong with that. Got to have young minds that are creative. There's always assistant coaches that just don't want the headache of being a coordinator or head coach. Balance is the key. We lost a lot of youth in coaching end of last season and replaced most all with old guys. Not the right balance.
