This already happens all the time in IT. Usually for immigrants with poor communication skills. The one good communicator will get lots of jobs and push the technical work on to a pool of programmers.

I knew a programmer who got her job that way. Pretty easy on the eyes, though. She was a Happenin' Hindu Honey.
