Yep. Same coach. His RB rotation is frustrating as hell, and a fifth string running back made one nice play.

While I do think he can work on his rotations I believe Faulk is going to be a good coach. Tough to fully evaluate him with how terrible the o line was this season.

We might be about to see what O is really made of in the sense of having to hire coordinators since he inherited what he had when he took over for Miles.

What?

O hired Cregg, Johnson, Busch, Canada, Pelini, Linehan, Brady, Faulk, Robinson, meatball,

There’s not a DC in all of college football that wouldn’t take Bo Davis. Other than maybe Nick bc they had a falling out but that’s a different story

As he should be, year 1 with him and he is going to be a great recruiter. He is way down the list of coaches that are our issue. Plus he is an LSU legend

Ensminger was nothing before Brady and had better success after learning from Brady. He still has no idea how to call a run game. Everything is up the middle. Zero imagination.

I get it people love to shite on E but the offense was still good for most of the season with his starting QB going down in game 3 and 2 true freshman playing the other 7 games throwing the ball to mainly freshman receivers and a terrible o line.

I believe he is retiring and I think LSU can get someone better but he was still a good OC at LSU. Him allowing Joe Brady to implement the offense and control as much as he did, which Ensminger did not have to do at all, brought him from good to great but without him he is just good.

So is he a done deal? I'm ecstatic if he is.

With big Bo on board maybe Woodard has decided to earn his paycheck and go the get fricked NCAA route instead of getting on our knees for them

It certainly make sense to hire a guy who got fired by Alabama and hit with a “show cause” penalty while LSU is in the middle of an NCAA investigation.

The dude hasn't coached P5 football since the 2015 season. He had a 2-year show cause. How long do you expect him sit and wait to get another P5 job?

I didn't hear much detail. I've only talked to my guy once since before signing day and that was last night. He just told me about some of the changes he expected today or tomorrow at the latest. Lots of changes.

Also, the whole Athletic Department is in for a shake up. The Title IX situation and loss of revenue from COVID restrictions are the engines driving some big changes.
