We truly need a stud (or two) to play Alabama til Feb and sign with the "good guys".

2022 and beyond players, someone make it happen.

Need to "chink" the armor one 4-5* at a time.

Alabama recruits better QBs year in and year out. There is always one ready to go. When Flynn left LSU, Miles didn't have a QB ready and when Burrow left we had no QB that was muscular enough to take the SEC pounding. You can't talk about our 2 Freshmen QBs, they are not ready yet.

Not true, if RP plays in 2008 LSU is much better than 8-5. People talk about the Defense, but Lee Threw I think 7 or 8 PIC 6's that year, that is 49 to 56 points. The UGA game that year he threw 2, the score was 52-38. He threw 16 total INTS.

LSU spent a decade from 2008 to 2018 to get QB situation settled with Joe B. QB competition will be intense in spring 2021.

Other than Tua, none of their top level QB recruits have done much of anything recently. But even average QB's can look great when your OL is dominant and you have all day to throw to dominant WR's and the defense has to worry about great RB's.

Point being, when you can own the LOS it is a hell of a lot easier to be a great skill player.

Since about 2012 LSU has fallen off, or at least been very inconsistent, along the LOS

Crazy thing is their d line wasn't even elite the last 2 years

Its been their offense

As of now im out on cregg unless we get some great news.

Im not even just talking about leigh either.
They should've had a backup plan.

They need to go get a lifer college football coach. Steal an elite o line coach from another school

Agree -- I'm stating it "historically" -- all my years following both teams, Bama has done a more consistent job with SEC caliber OL/DL than LSU

They may sign 4-5 where LSU would sign 2-3
