DC for Notre Dame. Surprisingly decent hire. If Vandy gets him and Auburn hires Steele, then Vandy will have made a WAY better hire

Probably about as good a hire as Vandy could hope for. A Nashville native and Vanderbilt alum. A guy with at least some credentials who probably really wants to be at Vanderbilt rather than a guy who takes the job because it was his best and/or only major conf. offer.
