Florida Gators legend Steve Spurrier once mockingly referred to arch rival FSU as Free Shoes U., but now UF has its own infamous footwear moniker.
The Gators must now change their name to FSU — Fling Shoe U.

Oh man I was so happy when that happened. I'm a Buckeye fan living in Orlando and before I moved down here I didn't have an opinion of Gator fans one way or the other, but living here I realized they are the most obnoxious fan base. Anytime I wear Buckeye gear I am usually confronted by some fat, loud mouthed Gator. Especially this year about the playoffs. I own an online store selling gifts and I made this shirt immediately after the game and you better believe I'm going to strut around town wearing it: Cleat Yeet

Mike Bianchi of the Orlando sentinel is arguably the worst sports writer in America. He’s a sore loser and an abysmal winner. Then again that’s basically all Florida fans.

Our Trophy for the UF game should be Taylor's actual shoe on a cheap old bowling trophy.

I heard an interview between Finebaum and Bianchi in Jan 2015 whist driving to Corpus. They do not agree with each other. I dislike both, so it was hard to take a side.

We should bronze Taylor's shoe and that can be the annual trophy, much like Arkansas and The Boot. It will always serve as a reminder.
