Negative opinions about the president and his family will no longer be allowed.

As someone who possesses a PhD, and worked in Academia for a decade, the author of this article is correct.

One of the main reasons I don't brag about it or discuss it is because I met so many STUPID people in Academia that had one, that it jaded me. No joke.

Fast forward 12 years later and now anyone can get a PhD for anything, and demand they are treated like they are a God, when in reality they can barely tie their own shoes.

quote:

In a Twitter post on Saturday, McCain appeared to agree with Northwestern that Epstein was being misogynistic with his article.

“I am so sick of the way accomplished, educated, successful women like @DrBiden are talked about in the media by misogynistic men,” McCain wrote. “BEYOND SO SICK OF IT.”

How can someone now have any disagreement on anything with any woman or person of color without being called racist or misogynistic? Would seriously like to know.

there are plenty of things about Biden to complain about without resorting to snarky, jealous acquisitions about his wife (not an elected official) using a title that she rightly earned and is entitled to use. all it does is make the author, who holds a bachelor degree, look petty.

If someone is having a heart attack and asks for a doctor, they don’t mean a fricking loser like Jill Biden.

I, unfortunately, work with a pile of folks with PhDs from some pretty respectable universities, all in various engineering disciplines or chemistry / physics. Most will sign things a Dr. So and So...some are usually referred to as Doctor So and So....but very few insist on being called Dr. and the ones who do are invariably assholes who do not know their arse from a hole in the ground...does she insist on people calling her doctor or do people do it due to her holding a doctorate and out of respect??? If she insists on it, she is an arse.

I do not comply with the insistence by the way....I usually call everybody I interact with professionally as Mr. or Ms. as I was raised in the south and using first names was tacky unless you were addressing a friend or a family member...I also worked around the military a BUNCH and did this out of respect to their service....but if I ever called anyone Mr. SO and SO and they seriously said "Its DR SO and SO" I would IMMEDIATELY and forever more address them by their first name....I was seriously taken to task for this practice a couple of years ago with a DoE Doctor (nuclear engineering) and was encouraged to appease him by other consultants and the DoE site director....I did not and that guy eventually came around and wasn't near the prick he was initially....
