They also played pretty well in the red zone. Especially relative to how they’ve played previously

Our defense is light years better inside the 20 than it is between the 20’s. Not having to defend deep definitely helps this defense and they become pretty stout. Jay Ward had a pretty good game. I think I was most pleased with his performance.

LSU played their asses off and came away with the W. It's weird to be on underdog side if things.
