The problem is: Who guards the 3? For as good a player as he his, lateral quickness is probably Days' weakness and we know he has a propensity for racking up fouls in a hurry. Many times fouls on defense come from being out of position or trying to recover after being beaten one-on-one. Can Days handle guarding, without fouling, a quicker wing player?
I'm guessing if we wanted to play Leblanc/Days/Watford together, Watford would be guarding the 3 as he was the one who played out there when EW/Days/Watford were out there last season. With that being said, Watford was pretty atrocious defending the perimeter last season and Days actually had quite a few fouls in helpside when Watford got beat or missed his rotation. Wade said during an interview that they wanted to keep Watford from having to defend out there this season since we have the personnel to prevent that.
As an unrelated side note, Hyatt actually didn't start last game. It was Mwani at the 3.

Would like to see O'Neal thrive, but he isnt there yet.
I don't agree. Oneal has been a great rebounder for minutes played.
He is shaking off the rust of virtually two years of not playing. He needs to continue to grow in his physicality and become consistent mid range shooter. Leblanc will be huge addition no doubt, but Oneal should still get 12 to 15 minutes if he can become consistent.
