Fact Of the matter is LSU was trending upwards since O arrived. Every year
Then last year happened.

A series of shitty things happened (some his fault some not) and you have what we have this year.

It’s easy to win at LSU
O will right the ship.

Calm down.

SEC record tells the tale of the status of the program:

2015: 9-3 (5-3)
2016: 8-4 (5-3)
2017: 9-3 (6-2 with OOC loss to Troy)
2018: 9-3 (5-3)

So no, it wasn’t

For new coaches, that appears correct. It also gets much more difficult the longer a coach stays, apparently.

That doesn’t bode well for this program right now.

I agree with you for sure. Les didn’t have to deal with Covid or opt outs either. Ppl can say what they want about coach O but that man had to deal with a lot this year.

Covid
No camps to help with recruiting
No unofficial or official visits to help with recruiting
He lost 34 guys from his championship team
Lost the PGC and DC really wasn’t able to do a DC search.
Lost a lot of coaches besides positional coaches.
A lot of transfers
Starting qb gets hurt
Just a bad year for LSU we will bounce back GEAUX TIGERS
