They’re in the playoffs and lose, because they play no one good then get to the playoffs and..... lose.

Same shite with Oklahoma.

I’ll bet they make the playoffs again, and lose in the semis

You mean like when we tried to get Jimbo Fisher from FSU but he stayed only to go to TXA&M the next year? Or when we tried to get Tom Herman from Houston but he chose Texas?

We had Jimbo in the bag and he was trying to get more money. Only reason he jumped to A&M the next year is because he had already burned his bridge with the FSU Staff bc he was very much going to go to LSU. A&M backed the money truck up the next year. They’re top 5 right now and beat Auburn last night. We went bargain bin and are 3-5 with a cheerleader.

Herman was easily the hottest commodity in college FB that year and could have named his price anywhere. Texas is one of the few programs in the country that a coach would place above LSU based on history, money, and prestige. Problem is that Texas is a bigger dumpster fire than anyone could have imagined.

LSU would be no better this year even if they played in the big ten or ACC.

This! Why do fans think we are one of the blue bloods of college football. Until Saban we hadn't won a MNC since 1958. We will always have our ups and downs and magical season like last year, 3 or 4 years from now we will be in another title game and then start all over again

The kind of mentality that a guy’s wife could cheat on him in an affair, but he’d beg her to take him back bc he’s afraid to be alone and doesn’t think he’s good enough. Weak.

It's great that LSU went 15-0. But other teams and fans don't feel slighted or inferior if their team only goes 14-1 and still wins the championship. It's a neat bragging point, but it doesn't really mean very much otherwise. Alabama fans, for example, would take 14-1 every year and never look back and why would they?

This is not a normal “down” year

I agree. There’s nothing normal about losing 18 starters and 2 coordinators.

You can’t reload after those losses.

Look at the “down year” Georgia is having. THAT’S how you have a down year. Not this mess we’re in.

The coach who lost to Troy then won a Natty? Same guy?

The one that the rant claimed would never win a Natty at LSU? Is this the one we are talking about?

Just curious

Georgia has nothing to show for a team full of 5 stars

How often do those schools make bad hires on coordinators?

They don’t because they have a philosophy of what they want to do on offense and defense. O has neither, he just goes with what he thinks is trending , and once that’s gone he’s lost

I like National Championships. Ask Ryan Day and Lincoln Riley about those.

O gets full credit for that. But they’re gone.

And with the exception of Brady, O’s coaching hires have been terrible.

Let’s ask Ryan Day about 55-17 losses while we are at it and 3 win seasons.
