I'm pretty sure that I would. People tend to think best by dates and expiration dates are the same thing. Also, many goods and products are fine well after their expiration date. Food doesn't magically become rotten once it turns midnight on its arbitrary expiration date.

Seinfeld has a funny bit about this involving the date stamp on milk jugs.
I ate a small pack of pecan halves the other day with my lunch. The stamp on the package said best by June/2019. They were fine.
