I bought the 1500 a few weeks ago. My son had trap practice and my mom who was staying with us after getting out of the hospital, went with us.
She said in the truck but left the door open for the entire practice. I wasn't paying attention as I was keeping score for the team. After practice truck was totally dead. One of the guys had one and was perfect.
Got home and ordered me one.

Son was working in Idaho summer after his Junior year of HS. They got off fishing somewhere about ten miles from pavement. He calls and says my truck won’t start. I remind him of the jump start machine in his truck. Sure enough, it jumped him off and he drove a ways to an autozone and got a new battery. Would’ve been a long walk out.
