We had Gilbert/Taylor in double TE spread. This could be an amazing set over the next few years. Emphasis on "could be"...
TE screens, fake max protect (TE release), etc..

With big Finley back there, reminded me of gator heavy formation.

I am Pretty interested in sets with Gilbert and another TE.

Gilbert could be a WR.

If We develop a second very good reviving and blocking TE our versatility would be insane.

Gives us the ability to go with 11 or 12 personnel. If we can develop a real H back player we could go 20 or 21 personnel.

And of course single back and 5 wide

All without subbing

Gilbert will either transfer to Georgia/Alabama this off-season or play to not get hurt next season and then opt out. Let’s be honest... him coming here was based off of our fluke of a season last year. He’ll realize that this is not what he was promised in recruiting.

Don’t know if I agree with all of this but I wouldn’t be surprised if he transfers. Same with Emery.

I think Taylor has the makings of a good TE. He needs a full offseason of S&C and development, but the kid's 6'7 243. He'll make a serious target in the offense.
