Whatever you call our economic system, it's not unreasonable to argue that certain results are wrong and that we should strive to influence these results. We don't have to just accept a system that results in, for example, American wood being shipped to China to be made into paper that will be returned to the US for sale. That's an objectively bad result, and if the pretty pieces of paper we've decided are valuable indicate otherwise then the system built around them needs to change.

True but we don’t have anything close to global capitalism. We (USA) protect the world on our dime while enabling other countries (yeah I’m looking at you China) to artificially deflate and suppress wages forcing American businesses to offshore to their slave factories to compete.
That’s not capitalism in any means.
