I noticed the same thing. I realize that south Louisiana is the most unique aspect about the state, but north Louisiana has plenty of interesting and beautiful sites that deserve to be talked about, as well.

Just a few off the top of my head: the cotton culture of the delta and steamboat days, the Poverty Point indian mounds, perhaps a bit on the timber and fur industries.

No one expects it to be shoulder to shoulder with NOLA/Acadiana, but to not even warrant a mention is downright offensive.
