We had club car for the two carts we've had. I pulled up the club car website and the villager is what we had. Clubs (MCC & UClub) have the Tempo and they are real nice carts.
We were in the Villages (FL) at the end of last year and noticed a significant majority of the carts were electric Yamaha's. I've only know Yamaha to a gas cart. A few of those carts were hauling too.
