Gas/Electric? -Brand preference? -Comfort -Authorized Dealer or Private Sale?
I went through this last year. After hours of research I electric was the way to go because:
1) less maintenance
2) more power and torque getting up hills
3) not as loud and smoother ride
Negatives:
1) not as much mileage range... 30 miles per charge compared to about 200 with gas
2) replacing batteries is expensive but they can last a long time if maintained properly
I prefer club car carts due to their aluminum frame that will never rust. The cart will last you a lifetime with proper care.
If you can find a good private sale deal I would not hesitate to pull the trigger. With that said a lot of people refurbish them with Chinese parts so be sure and ask if it has genuine club car parts. If not request a discount or keep looking Hope this helps. My family and I love our electric club car precedent

Club cars are all aluminum frames. I would start there. Also budget and what it’s used for makes a huge difference.
I have an electric club car with a high speed motor. I strictly use it for golf.
