Went to the doctor today for routine visit. Him and the nurse both said they are sick of all the Covid bullshite and the media trying to scare people.
Both also believe that the mass hysteria is all political.

I get tired of all the people who think it’s a hoax and then getting behind
A keyboard and patting each other on the back for their stupid jokes. But mostly I’m tired of taking care of Covid patients in the ICU who don’t get better. Patients who are sick and we don’t know what to do with them. There is no real medicine or treatment to help these people when they get that sick. They are still figuring it out.
My ICU is full but most of them are not Covid patients. Hospitals are seasonal. Slack in the summer and picking up in the fall/winter. We are full early this year. Why I’m not sure.
We have gotten patients from Lake Charles(understandable), Alexandria and hospitals further north. I’m not sure why.
I’m curious. At what point will there be enough illness and death for you to take it serious or to believe that this is not a hoax, or at least something to take seriously. Do people have to dropping in the streets? Do you have to lose family? Do you recognize that at that point it might be too late?
Or do you feel it’s your right to ignore and do as you feel no matter what?
