I just sold the 05 Silverado Z71 I bought used in high school. Had 298k on it when I sold it with the original motor and tranny.
Bought an 08 Silverado Z71 with 125k miles on it from an older guy, thing is like brand new except for a crack in the dash and some smudging on the AC button.
Hopefully I can get 300k out of it

Judging from my 2007 model, you should be able to break 250,000 miles without much trouble.
I regret selling that truck.

That's impressive.
The Silverados, Tahoes, and Suburbans from that generation were mechanically rock solid. Most of the folks I know with Suburbans in particular keep them for 200,000-300,000 miles.
