Obviously I'm not an anti-vaxer....but I was skeptical of this R&D effort as well so I did some research. There are some of the smartest people in the world using the most high tech processes ever used for vaccine development on this particular vaccine. The person mobilization for this R&D effort was insane....if we could do this for other industries like computer technology it would be amazing what we could develop.
Someone mentioned the 1st polio vaccine earlier.....it floors me that people don't realize the technological advances from the 1950s to today.

You need to read the book Prey by Michael Crichton.

It is remarkable. It is one of the greatest achievements in human history and our retarded (meant literally) population is saying they won't take it even after 10s of thousands of trial patients and likely 10s of millions of "at risk" folks will have taken it before they're up for their shots.
Pitiful.

The technological advances that let them make a potentially far more harmful vaccine?
I’m just messing with you. I would certainly hope they’re better now.
