I hate rap, but I love 2001

1. Enter the Wu-tang (36 Chambers)
2. Paul's Boutique
3. Good Kid, M.A.A.D City
4. It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
Hard to pick any one album from Outkast, I love them all about equally.

Nas - Illmatic
Brother Ali - The Undisputed Truth
Madvillain (MF Doom & Madlib) - Madvillainy
Gangstarr - Moment Of Truth
Tech N9ne - Thriller (This one has grown on me)
Do or Die - Picture This (if you like Kanye, this is the group he grew up on... wouldn't be Kanye without them) followed very closely by Headz or Tails
I can keep going... Lol

My weed filled head intro to hip hop. It sounded like nothing else when it came out. The album still stands up well even in 2020.

De La Soul -3 feet high and risin.
1989, old school, not angry, not fake, just a good natured album with a concept album feel that made me smile when I heard it. For me it’s more about this albums appeal to my sensibilities than any real claim that it’s a great album since my knowledge of hip hop is too limited to comment much.
