Lots of talk lately about how great Heath Ledger was as the joker, which reminded me of how much I like a good villain in a movie. What are some of you guys favorite ones?
-Some of these may not necessarily be "villains", but I think if you see who I put on here you'll get the point.

Ledger - Dark Knight
Bardem - No Country for Old Men
McDowell - A Clockwork Orange
Hopkins - Silence of the Lambs
Nicholson - Shining
Perkins - Psycho
De Niro - Taxi Driver
Mitchum - Night of the Hunter

I could go on and on, but there's a few. Do any of you have any more? I'd love to hear some answers, and maybe even hear one I haven't seen before.

Alien - Alien.
Kilmer - Ice Man. Although I guess he wasn't really a villain or even a "bad guy" since everyone found a way to work together to kill russians.

But dude. Alien.

Kilmer - Iceman????

Color me confused. I thought he was just kind of a jackass... no really a villain. A mere chance for Maverick's character to complete his arch.

Nurse Ratchett from Cuckoos Nest and Annie from Misery are great ones. More of the types of characters I was thinking about when I started this.

tall Scottish dude was David Prowse. He's actually English though...they get testy when you mix up Scot, Irish, and English.
