Maybe its my own pessimism, but Stein made sure to say the 6th pick would be involved, not that it was coming here.
If we were able to pull it off, I'd much rather have one of Atlanta's young guys and take a gamble on their 2021 pick, in a loaded draft.
I think the dirty little secret here that only Pelicans fans seem to know is that while Jrue is very good, he doesn't actually move win totals in a huge way.

He is a very good player.
For many years we were trying to fit a round peg into a square hole
I dont see how you will get better than #6 and a player.
